Futureproof Film

Street Level Photoworks in partnership with Regional Screen Scotland have been bringing photography to a wider audience via a traveling cinema, the Screen Machine.


"Screen Machine is an 80-seat, air conditioned mobile cinema which brings the latest films to remote and rural areas of Scotland. It tours more than 40 communities in the Highlands and Western Islands and each tour lasts approximately 10 weeks. Screen Machine also appears at selected film festivals. Locations for this current programme include Castlebay, Lochmaddy, Mallaig, Tarbert, Tobermory, Ullapool and many more."


For the last few months Screen Machine has been touring a short film about Futureproof 2017 a selection of work by up and coming graduates who were successfully chosen to be part of this showcase. Interviewed about their work are Edinburgh College Photography graduates Gareth and Gavin Bragdon (the Bragdon Brothers) and Ryan McCann who can be seen in the film below.
