EXPOSED 25: A Stunning Debut for Edinburgh College Photography Graduates
Last night, June 3rd, marked the highly anticipated opening of EXPOSED 25, Edinburgh College's Photography graduate exhibition. Over 250 students, guests, and industry professionals gathered at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall to witness a truly excellent and diverse showcase of work from HND and BA (Hons) Professional Photography students.
The exhibition features a captivating array of photographs spanning various genres, including art, portraiture, fashion, advertising, and photojournalism. Attendees were treated to a broad spectrum of subject matter, from insightful explorations of religion and the world of Hells Angels to compelling portraits of musicians and artists. The show also highlights innovative approaches to product photography, architectural studies, sustainable fashion, and uplifting portrayals of youth positivity.
A good friend and renowned photographer wrote.
"Popped along to the Edinburgh College Photography BA (Hons) exhibition last night. The work was interesting and very diverse (which I like) it was all linked through attention to detail and quality of presentation. Many exhibitions lack narrative (or some offer perhaps too much) but this felt incredibily well balanced. The staff must be credited for bringing this group togeteher, Jon / Susan / Raymond / David / Ronnie, well done!! As for the students....they all deserved congratulations".
