SONY Educational Visit
The Edinburgh College Photography department capped off the week with a visit from a Sony Ambassador! The highlight was a lecture and presentation by renowned music photographer and video director Peter Neill. Peter, based in London, boasts an impressive client list that includes music industry giants like Justin Timberlake, U2, Elbow, The Script, Ennio Morricone, and Queen + Adam Lambert.
Peter offered a captivating glimpse into his journey as a music photographer. He shared insights on navigating the industry, from building a network and establishing his name to the essential dos and don'ts. He also regaled the audience with tales of life on the road, touring with some of music's biggest acts.

The Sony team amped up the program by providing students with hands-on experience with their latest flagship cameras and lenses. Studio 19 transformed into a creative playground, offering a model shoot led by Nina Shahroozi and a product still life setup, allowing students to experiment with the equipment and hone their skills.
