The Jill Todd Photographic Award is designed to help graduates who, as was Jill, seeking to make a career out of their hard gained photographic education and experience.
To thus assist the Award offers:
£2,000 in prize money
Winners’ and Commended Entrants’ works printed, framed and hung free of charge.
Exhibiting of those works in Stills Photography Gallery, Edinburgh free of charge.
Mentoring for 9 months from internationally renowned photographers: Dr Wendy McMurdo and Robin Gillanders.
Free entrance to a lecture on photography by Peter Frazer in the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre at the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh.
For the winners, commended and other entrants on a first come first served basis - Attendance at a Masterclass in photography at Stills Gallery led by Peter Frazer.
Travel and subsistence reimbursements for the winners and commended entrants.
