Futureproof is the annual showcase of graduating new photographic talent in Scotland. This year features three graduates from Edinburgh College Photography, Gavin Bragdon, Gareth Bragdon and Ryan McCann.

The opening reception of Futureproof 2017 is on Friday 24th November from 6pm. Details can be found on the Street Level Photoworks website

"An aspect of some of the work in this years' Futureproof explores materiality in photography, and its interdependence on other visual media such as sculpture, the ready-made, as well as tropes within painting. Other works deploy staged photography and constructed realities, as well as surreal observations on the everyday, the incidental and the diaristic. The eight art schools and universities in fine art and photography at BA level have offered up another wave of graduates producing exuberant and engaging work – from Glasgow School of Art, Duncan of Jordonstone College of Art (dundee), Moray School of Art (Elgin), Gray’s (Aberdeen), City of Glasgow College, Napier University (Edinburgh), Edinburgh College, and Edinburgh College of Art".

"Includes work from the following selected artists: Yvette Bathgate, Sam Holland, Dosi Dimchovsky, Katie Harris-MacLeod, Leanne Glass, Clare Hutchison, Gavin Bragdon, Gareth Bragdon, Ryan McCann, Kieran Delaney, Linn Lundin, Liadh Kelleher, Evonne Bain, Katariina Yli-Malmi, Karlyn Marshall, Angela Graham, Anne Mie Bak Andersen, Kathryn Wood, Matthew Buick, Ben Soedira".
