Communality - Derek Anderson

Sponsored by the Leith Community Education Trust, a project based on the Communality of Leith. This exhibition progressed after the work of Commuality (part I) last year. That series of images taken in Leith involved the structure and flow of people around the streets and walkways. We decided that instead of being outside looking in, we would bring inside out. Taking our dated livingroom and bulding it on the streets in Leith and asking the generous people who live, work and travel through Leith to sit for a quick portrait with us. They were also interviewed and asked two questions about Leith. The work Communality part I and part II will be shown in its entirety at Leith Community Centre. 14th February 2016 12 - 2pm.
