Congratulations to Sylwia Kowalczyk for her award winning series on memory and loss 'Lethe'. Her work has been selected as one of the winners in this year's PDN Annual portfolio awards in the Personal Project category.

Kowalczyk’s exploration of the faultiness of memory and the unique grief imbued in its loss. “The past is not a faithful record,” she says. “It is a mythology; a vast, blank territory where even the most important memories in life are gradually erased.”
